Hi all,
I have a new DA 50 engine. The odd thing is that it has 5 flights on it now but it feels like there is no compression. My other DA 50 feels fine. This one however when you take your index finger on the tip of the prop and turn it, it turns without any effort. when i had a deadstick the weekend the prop turns every now and then while on the deadstick approach. When i turn it clockwise however there is alot of resistance??
Any help and yes there is a sparkplug in and tightend.
Regards
Michael

Could be the piston ring. I had a Evolution 45 do the same, and the ring was "bad"... according to Horizon... I sent it to them, and they fixed it.... It's got compression now.
