Default Irvine 1.50 questions

I picked up a new Irvine 1.50 MK11 engine for my new World Models G.S. Mustang. I was wondering if anyone has run this engine. What power can be expected? What props do you recommend for breaking in and normal flying? It was too good of a deal to pass up so I hope it will be enough engine for this bird. Thanks for your input. Maximus

The one I have is very powerful and dependable. I am using an APC 16X8 on mine and I have it on an Ultra Stick by Hangar 9. It hovers the plane well.

Sig is selling a Bisson pitts style muffler for the 1.20 and the 1.50. I bought one when I purchased my motor.

I have a Bisson pitts as well. Steve, where do you fly in Ashton? I love that area. My wife has many relatives in Ashton, Driggs and Tetonia. Have you tried a 18x6?

Later, Maximus

Maximus;
Right now we are flying in a field just south of town that we had a snow groomer come and level out for us. During the summer we have a field on BLM ground about four miles south of town, next to the Fall River. We just got the club started two years ago. Just E-Mail me when you are in the area and I'll show you where everystuff is at. Make sure you bring a plane or a fishin pole.
