Welcome---You are now familiar with the infamous DA50 mid-range burble!!! Keep leaning the low end until the engine hesitates or quits when you slam the throttle forward---Then richen the engine until the engine transitions smoothly....Remember---As you lean the low end the high end will be affected to a small degree. So, as you lean the low end you should richen up the high end a tick at a time. Make all of your adjustments in VERY small increments....I've been known to take a couple of hours to dial an engine in---It will be worth it in the long run!!

Another bit of advice is dont kill yourself trying to get rid of the burbal...some 50's seem to suffer more than others from this...it will get better but in my experiences, it will never be totally gone no matter how much tuning you do.

hey guy's has anyone tried the WT 201-76 carb on the DA ,it's suppose to be able to go rich enough on the high speed needle to the point to where you start to lose rpm's.i just thought it mite help the mid range burble also.
ENJOY!
