Default Weight comparisons

Terry at CH told me that CH with Syncro weighs the same as the motor without the flywheel but with the old coil still attached on the Poulan 46cc. Ive lightened my flywheel and Im going to see what it comes out as soon as I get the hub and carb adapter in the mail.

Default Clearer explanation

He said that if you take the flywheel but not the coil off the stock motor that it would weigh about what that motor should weigh with the CH conversion. :spinnyeye

Ok here we go! My big block Tecumseh (138cc) arrived today. Got very disappointed at the initial weight of 24.2lbs! After breaking it down I'm rather happy with a weight of 9lbs!! I still have to remove more metal and the back chunk of shaft, this should be good for another 1 to 1.5lbs. Hopefully this will put me at my target weight of 8lbs bare, not to bad for a brand new engine of 138cc and a price of $100 shipped. Anybody up for the challenge to make a prop hub?

Let me get the rest of the metal off and I'll call you. Of course a muffler will be needed as well. Any ideas for that?

Abell Mfg..You can send him the bolt pattern and he will make a welded aluminum muffler...His G23 muffler works very well on the G26, and is only 200 rpm down from no muffler at all.....
