Some people think that in 26 cc there is no better than Webra-26 or MVVS-26 and if you check
the comments on RCU you might change your mind too. Check those:
http://www.webra-austria.at/motor.ph...r=AERO&lang=EN
http://www.mvvs.cz/mvvs%2026.html
and for the Performance-vs-Price I believe nobody can beet MVVS, for the price of
the Engine and also for the price of the Spare parts.
Cheers,
Nick

You can import from Europe and with the added taxes might still be cheper including the Postage.
Check the prices, they are very friendly at
www.lindinger.at
and even cheaper than www.towerhobbies.com or horizon from USA.
Anyway, the prices you mentioned as too high for 26cc engine; and if you have to have 26cc
why should be gasoline ? I have 26cc MVVS and use only Methanol and Castor oil and the
price is lower than the price for gas, power is higher too without a drop of nitro. In my
opinion Gas makes sense for displacements lot more than 35cc, for example 80 cc.

The MVVS is without doubt the most powerful gas engine in the 26cc class. The Zenoah has a very sturdy construction, but is lower in power and higher in weight.
Stay away from the CRRC until the Chinese learn to do their own quality control.

Hey PE -
I would disagree with your comments on the CRRC engines. Myself along with 3 others purchased four of the 26-ISP from Paragon RC here in Canada, and we have all been very happy with the engines. Mine is spinning a 16x8 in the 7800-8000 range, and it has just over a gallon of fuel through it so far. Very reliable idle and easy to start. Perhaps they had quality problems in the past, but the newer stuff (at least the CNC'd 26-ISP) seems to be quite good, IMHO.
For around $300 CDN, you can't beat the price.
