Greetings,
I have a DA-50 engine, but I have a problem getting the fuel into the engine. I forced the fuel to reach just before the fuel-inlet of the engine, but no matter how much I turn the probe, no fuel will go inside the engine. I also tried to blow air, but no air would go in at all.
The settings of the needle is: high 1 ¾ and low is 1 ½ turns
What could be the reason?
Thank you.

The flappers in the fuel pump side might be stuck. Try squirting a bit of fuel into the engine and start it. The engine might draw fuel hard enough to release the flappers. Also try priming it with your thumb over the intake and spin the prop. If that makes the fuel flow enough to start the engine but not sustain it while running then a carb rebuild is in order.

If it has been setting for a while the diaphragm may be stuck, There is a metal plate on side of carb that has a hole in the center or on one side with four screws holding it on, Remove the four screws and lightly remove the diaphragm, put a little oil on it and reinstall,
