Zenoah vs BCMA

Ok guys, help me out.
Zenoah G-26ei
BCMA 26
The BCMA looks to be lighter by almost a pound. No thrust is listed for the Zenoah, and the prop RPM comparisons are with different props, so they are useless.
Bottom line: Can anyone compare these engines for me? I'm particularly interested in thrust and the ability to swing a large diameter/low pitch prop.
The engine I decide on is going in a GTM 1/4 Fokker Dr.1
Any info is greatly appreciated.

With WWI stuff you usally need weight in the nose, so I think the weight isn't a problem. Adam At BCMA has a good rep on customer service, I don't know about Zenoah's rep. BCMA can also supply you with a rear carb 26cc if that helps the installation.

I support RTK - Ralph Cunningham's G26 Lite is the way to go to get the absolute best in this class of engine for reasonable cost.
Alternatives - Brillelli 26SSR, BCMA 26....

Thanks for the replies, guys. Looks like the G-26, hopped up or not, is the way to go. Too bad it's so much more expensive than the BCMA. Does anyone know why Zenoah prices seem to have gone through the roof lately? Or is it that the G26 is still too new for the price to come down. And what's with the price of that little G-20? Sheesh!!!

No one can question the longiviity or reliability of the Zenoah engine, however in stock form it is still a bit heavier when compared to other current offerings of a similar size such as the BCMA engine, but holds it's own easily in the power department.
For your proposed application and as Rich suggested, the additional weight of the G26 might be to your advantage. Either way you will end up having a very good engine.
