I just got a Walbro carb with a bulb on the front.
There is a brass tube in that part of the carb and
another which looks to be the one to connect the
gas line to. How should this be setup. Thanks
Larry

My experience is with a Zama carb, but I have read they are hooked up the same.
The tube closest to the primer bulb goes to the fuel tank vent, and the other one goes to the fuel tank clunk.

So the system is still just 2 lines, there's no vent? I
thought that was a no no for gasers. I flew it yesterday
and worked pretty well with that bulb tube open. The
only problem I was having was starting. It trys to start
but dies. The best way it would start was to give it a
couple clicks of throttle. It did run and fly but doesn't
seem right. I was going to hook up like you said but
was afraid to have a closed system. Thanks

For the best results solider up the tube for the primer bulb or seal it off with some fuel tubing heated up & pinched closed on the end and the vent line on the tank its self should be ran out the bottom of the plane. All I fly are gassers and this works good for me.
