Hi all;
Is there any reason why I shouldn't put the ign module for my Fuji 32EI on the front side of the firewall, near the engine? It sure would make running the plug wire easy. If not, can I simply encase it in foam and stuff it behind the firewall with it's battery?
If I can, should I screw it directly to the wood or isolate from vibration?
Do I need to wrap it in aluminum foil to supress RFI?
Thanks everybody!!

Put it wherever the spark plug wire has the least bends/tight radius bends. Place it where some cooling air gets to it. Mount it with one side to foam the other to cooling air. Velcro will hold it in place without being too tight. Zip tie it if thats what you have. Do not hard mount it. Wrapping foil around it should not be needed. If wrapping it in foil proves nessecary get another brand ignition. For instance your cars radio doesn't pick up static and it's ignition isn't wrapped in foil.
