I understand that if I put a smoke nipple on the muffler of a gasser, it will melt the line directly attached to it. If this is true, how long should I extend the nipple with brass tubing, 1 1/2'' ??? Thanks in advance.

Use the black neoprene hose, you can get it from tower hobbies in 2 foot lengths for about $1, use this from the exhaust nipple to the check valve & from there you can use your tygon or whatever type you are using except silicon.

Thanks I'll try and get some of that black fuel line. The plain tygon looks like it will melt.
