I just got a NX 22x8 prop for my Brison 3.2 . The problem is the prop is drilled for 10mm and my Brison is 3/8x24 so I have .020 slop and that worries me some.
Anyone else notice this and is it a problem? I have a Menz 22x8 on the way so I'll see how that one fits, The 20x10 menz that I have now is drilled to 3/8.

I went from 7500rpm on the 20x10 menz ultra to 6500 on the nx22x8 and NOTICIBLE drop in throttle response. The plane felt a lot more comfortable and better braking. Maybe a 21x8 will split the differance.

Krazy,
The 22x8 menz s got here today and it is shorter than the NX. The NX is 22-1/2" and the Menz is 21-1/2" also it is about 1/16" thinner.
I now now why Airwild said I wanted a 21x8 for my Brison (when I called to see about the hole size).
I knew I should rev higher with a 22x8, I can't wait to try the Menz.
I should call NX back and ask what the 22x8 is recomended for so I can sell it at the field. Than I will the 21x8, the quality seems better on the NX.

MENZ S vs. NX
I agree with basinbum, the nx does load harder than the menz s
The Menz s tends to let the power band come on a little quicker,
I still like the NX it does pull well out of a TR, not quite like a Menz
though. Been wanting to try bambula , but been on backorder for a while now. The mejliks, to me seem a click under the menz s.
The RCS are good, but can't find any.
all of these were a 22x8 on 3.2 29%

2Lo, Nice plane! Did you build it or ARF?
Krazy....is that you on the Aeroworks site holding the Yellow Edge?
Both of those make my Lanier Cap ARF look like ca-ca but, it's my 1/4 scale gas trainer.

2lo
i have been wanting to try one of thsoe bambula prop 2!
BasinBum
That s my baby 29% AW edge in the pic its been a great plane for me with 282 flights to date, running a 22 x 8 mejzlik on a brison 3.2.
i am running a 22 x 8 menz on my other brison 3.2 thats home to the Dave Patrick Extra.
i like the mezlik on my edge so that when the grass in long on the field i can easly clean it off the tips of the prop. I perfer the menz but its like 2lo says its second to the menz.
I will keep you all posted if i can get my hands on a bambula. I liked the rcs prop 2....

Thanks for this thread RD,
I really liked the first prop I had on my patty. It was the Menz ultra 20-10. It had more pull than anything I have tried yet. I'll be ordering a few soon. Krazyc you some of the nicest planes I've seen!

Don't order yet! I have two 20x10 ultra's one new and one used but perfect, I'm willing to trade or sell. I'll bring them with me the next time I come out ( Saturday unless the weather get's better).
How's the knee?

Thanks BasinBum
It's AW 29% kit
Has anyone tried the Beila's, the one that are painted white with red tips?
I saw some where, where someone was selling them here but didn't see the 22x8. aircraftinternational handles them, but not the 22x8
KRAZYC, what are you gonna replace your AW with if you sell it?

i pulled it off the market as everyone wanting me to box it up and ship it. I just don't have that kind of time to box up a 1100.00 plane so i must go close my thread on the plane thanks for the remind. The edge has been nothing but great for me all my club members found out it was up for sale off of this site as i didn;t tell anyone. I just looked in my hanger and the rest was almost history i don't think i will ever put it up for sale again. I didn't have any new planes in mnd for the replacement. Sometimes it seems that every new kit that comes out is so great then i run out and try it and find its not all that. I sure we have seen the oh this is great this is the best plane i have ever flown. I now a days need detail info like how does it knife edge, how well does it stall, what type of flying is being completed, stall turns, snaps, deadstick glide, ect. All of my plane fly very well if i only do what they really are capable of doing, ie my fun flies do't do the best rolling cirlces but they can do it its just not that pretty (Example)...... well i am off to the close section.....

Tried the Menz 22x8s yesterday...definitley the best one yet. Now I have to try the 21x8 NX. Don't feel like spending the bucks on the carbon fibre yet.
When I go to idle I can hear the air coming off the prop....I'm not that experienced but, I think that means it's breaking well.
