I have a Jtec fitted to a DL 50 and I think I got the same items. I threw them away and fitted the pitts directly to the exhaust port with a gasket in between. Have NEVER had a problem and I love the Jtec. If in doubt, just email them, they have an email address.

The rectangle is optional and can be used between the cylinder and muffler to move the muffler out a tad if needed for clearance. The other rectangle with just the 2 mounting holes can be used as a "washer" for the 2 mounting bolts for the muffler. This will aid in keeping the muffler bolts from distorting the muffler when tightened, thus keeping the bolts from coming loose.
