Default Looking for CH Ignition parts

Hello, I'm repairing a CH Ignition module and am in need of the plug wire and boot. I've looked all over the city for this wire, and nobody has the shielded 5mm carbon core that CH uses.

If anybody has a burned up ignition I could use for parts, or know where I can get these items in Canada, please let me know.

Thanks!

Tiger

You can make one out of 7mm wire and RG 59 coax.
Strip off the outer layer of both and go fo it.

tkg - Can you explain your idea a little further? Thanks!

Doug - Ch Ignition is not in Canada. I'll resort to them as a last ditch. Thanks anyway.

I was really hoping to find the carbon core lead as it's much more resistant to vibration failure.

Default DIY

Most 7mm wire has a 5mm inner core, so you just strip off the outer layer and the braid and you have 5mm wire.
Strip off the outer layer of coax and you will find the shielding braid pull out the inner core and you have the shield.
Bunch the shield up and slide in the 5mm wire.

Thanks Geistware, Already ordered, received and repaired it myself. I just wanted to avoid the outragous price of their plug wires.

Cheers!
