Like I mentioned before, threatening to show up at his table when he takes his wife out for a date is always good

I'm too far away for that

Seriously though - Henry is one of the best "communicators" out there in my book. I've had times I've been back here in the middle of the night (California time) and had the blackberry ping with incoming email from Henry. I really don't think he sleeps

I'm sure he doesn't sleep - We are often talking WAAAYYYY past midnight - his time. But he sure is a Stalwart for the best possible customer service.

Evening guy
Im pretty new at this rc that is . Ive flown control line in the 60s and 80s last year i got back into the hobby. Just ordered H9 p-47. Was wondering about gas. Been reading the thread for the last couple of days. covered the last 2 yrs...lol. Ive read alot of good stuff on gas but would like a few suggestions. Its the 60 size p-47. I looked at the rcgf 2occ and the 26. Also at the zenoah or should i just stick with a saito 4 stroke

I think I see your post on another forum. This is the place to be. There is about 75+ pages of post in this forum. I don't think you will find one that is displeased with their engine. That says alot.

I'm pretty sure I'm here - let me ask the dog.

Yep - Oscar the Wonderweinerdog has confirmed that I am indeed really here

As far as your H9 P-47 question, gary (Ghostrider) flies the H9 F6F on a 26cc Zenoah (which is heavier than the RCGF 20cc) - and it flies outstandingly. Of course, some of that is Gary.

I'm just glad to know I am not the only one that has conversations with his dog.

sorry stepped away for my dogs...lol. hey thanks . So the 26 wont be overkill? I know im not really ready for the jug, guess im putting the cart brfore the horse, just like building. Its reallt cool what you can change with an arf. as far as making it look a little more scale

That's the name of one of the bars in this town - "Somewhere Else", We also have "Somewhere Special" (A restaurant) and "Somewhere Different" (A legitimate massage and foot place). All 3 places were opened by the same person.

So - If the missus calls and says "Are you in the pub?" - I can say, "No - I am "Somewhere else", not lie and stil come home with "a skinful" - hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

All you need is the 20cc, I have the same combo and is outstanding. I would say the 26cc would be overkill. I have added over 1lb to my p-47 and it flies awesome. That little 20cc gasser kicks @$$. It's light and cheap as well. I posted a video on rcu video in case you didn't see it yet. 4-5 days ago. Shane

Gas and glow each have their pro's and cons - even differences with the same cc gas and two different manufacturers. My RCGF 26cc on the 1/7 P-47 moves it along at "scale +" speed - but nothing like my YS120 glow moves the F6F Hellcat (slightly smaller and about 2 lbs lighter). Can't compare my two 26cc gas motors directly, as the other one (Zenoah) is the model with the magneto (heavier), plus is mounted on a 100" H9 Supercub.

I only wonder about the people that DON'T talk to their dogs

Hey Wolfpack, I'm flying my H9 60 size Corsair on a Zenoah G20ei and it is fantastic. I'm sure that the RCGF 20cc engine will do just as well. The 26 cc engine is a bit heavier and may be a little more wing loading on that P-47 than you desire. In other words, I would choose the 20cc for the H9 60 size plane application.

Best wishes and good safe flying.
