Hawk props, how good are they.

Browsing through the Peak Hobbies web site I came across the Hawk brand of props which looked an interesting possibility as a sport prop, and being offered at a very reasonable price I decided to buy a couple to try on my G20.
Initial inspection of the props show them to be very well made from fairly good quality beech, and have a nice satin finish which IMO is much better that that of the Xoar. Balance was almost spot on and required just a tad of clear dope on the backside tip of the light blade to get it right.
Here are the results from my tests with all static thrust numbers generated by using Pe Thrust Calculator.
Hawk 16x6 8,500 rpm = 11.22 lbs. s/thrust
Hawk 16x8 7,550 rpm = 10.50
APC 16x8 7,600 rpm = 10.12
Xoar 15x8 8,200 rpm = 10.00
Xoar 16x8 7,800 rpm = 11.25
For sure the proof of it all will be in the flight performance, but I'm hoping that the 16x6 will perform as good as it's number suggest, as when the engine unloads in flight it should be right in it's max thrust range.

Hi!
I've run one 24x10 prop on my MVVS 45cc gasser and it performed good. It's also easy to file it to the size and shape you like.
