Default DL-50 Set Up

Got my Dl-50 and am working on installing it. This is my first gas engine so I am slowly figuring everything out. One question though...where do you plug in the exhaust fuel line? There's no where on the muffler to plug it in like there is on all my glow engines. Also, after readin many of these forums I have decided to purchase either a Jtec or slimline pitts style muffler for this.

Thanks,
Andy

You do not plug the vent line onto the muffler with a gas engine, just leave it hanging out the bottom of the plane.

If there's a gas flyer that lives near you buy them a 6 pack and make friends. It will save you a lot of time and effort in setting up your first gasser

If only we had a 6 pack for everybody we helped
It's not rocket science but setting up a gasser requires some initial knowledge. If you need to ask the question about where to put the "pressure line from the exhaust" then you will certainly have issues in setting up and running a glitch free gas engine. Things like no metal to metal to the throttle, seperate CDI batteries and switches, keeping a good distance between the CDI and Rx etc etc etc. Certainly not rocket science but for somebody new to gas it can sometimes be just as confusing. Don't ever be afraid to ask for help from somebody at your local club - even without the 6 pack I'm sure they will bend over backwards to help.
