Hi,
I have a ready to cover 33% Weeks Solution with a G-62 engine. What prop seems to work best with this engine? Is Bennett's spring starter the way to go, or would you use a regular electric (12V) starter? If you prefer a starter, which one would you go with?
Also, hinges. What control surface hinges do you like in this application?
All your thoughts will be appreciated and considered.

Any good wood or carbon 21x10 or 22x10....my personal favorite is the NX 21x10. If you need the weight up front, the spring starter would be ok. Otherwise, with a little practice, starting the OEM ignition G62 isn't a problem without it. I might sway more toward CHignitions Jump Start, rather than the spring starter if you want ease of starting. Robart hinges would probably be best for an application this size.

Mackey1-
I have a Sullivan Dynatron to start my G62, but thinking I want to convert to electronic ignition and put it in a biplane.
My starter can be available if you are considering buying one.
Check out the Sukhoi in my gallery. This engine pulls around that 24lbs plane for everything but unlimited vertical.
My favorite prop on it was an MSC 22-8.
But, I want more so off with the 62 and on with an 85
PM me if interested in the starter
