best muffler for G23 in a H9 PT 19?
I just received a Hangar 9 PT 19 with a G23 in the nose. It has the stock black side muffler installed. I have a brand new cowling, so I was wondering if there is a pitts style muffler that will fit completely inside?
thanks

G23 muffler
I have a Bisson inverted muffler on my G23 which fit almost completely inside the cowl on my T-Craft. Not sure on your plane. Might also check to see if there is a Pitts style available.

Slimline makes wrap-around style muffler for inverted G23/G26, which should best in the PT-19's narrow cowl. It's rather pricey though, at $89.95 list.
B&B makes a simple header (no muffler) for G23/G26, which is even more compact, but it doesn't do much to muffle the noise. If you fly at a place where noise is not an issue, that's will be a less expensive choice at around $30.
