Cheap 54-50cc

Hello gents.
In the market for a cheap 50cc ish motor for a 1/4 scale aircraft/Cessna 195.
I don't intend to fly it so much so I'm not looking for the best, hottest, lightest on the market.
Infact, would prefere that it wasn't even battery ignition.
Just simple, reliable etc... Zenoah G45 would be a (expensive) candidate.
What's available for the poor via the childrens workshops of China?[X(]

Why not check around for a used quality engine as you might be pleasantly surprised at the deals that are available, and then you could end up with the best of both worlds, unless of course you are hell bent on buying something really cheap.

Cheers chaps.
That TGY looks great value for money. Congratulations to anyone that's loaded up with one of those.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
The G45 sure is a good engine, like the fact that there's no battery to think about.
Second hand, why not.
Thanks again.

Prices are in A$ and shipping may be less than you think

Do you want cheap or low cost? Low cost would be any one of the good used engines listed for sale here. A G-38 should fly your plane just fine and they are usually low cost. Also a used Quadra 50 or US engines 40 would be in the same price range and also work well.
If you want cheap then any of the numerous Chinese imports in the $150 to $200 range fill the bill. They are almost throwaway their so cheap. I haven't yet seen one worth wasting my money on. If you want to spend more there are several higher quality Chinese motors available but I don't think they qualify as cheap.
