I had to remove and re-install my zdz80 and so I had taken off the hall sensor. When I put it back on I timed it to 6mm. It seems to start fine and idle fine, but when I transition to full throttle it seems to bog down, and it doesn't reach full rpm and seems to spit and sputter. Also at full throttle it seems to change pitch quite aq bit, sort of sounding at moments as if it is hitting a higher rpm (it is based on my tach) but it's not running smooth and consistent. The Ignition pack is fully charged and I'm running she recommended 40:1 Penzoil from RCS... Any suggestions?
Thanks

make sure the hall sensor is extended to where it spans most of the magnet - the nstart over - make sure all is tight - and start a hair rich -but don't just let the engine run on and on at full throttle - that overheats em -when new especially.

Thanks Dick I'll try that. It ran fine for the first couple of gallons and I just re-attachedthe hall sensor as it was previously, but maybe it needs tobe extended out a bit. I'll try that tomorrow.
