I might depend on where it crossed the border at.

I know in the USA some US Post offices are just terrible while most are excellent.

I had one item I sent to Canada a couple a years ago it took a month to get to it destination, most of the time it was sleeping in customs.

OTHER NEW DEVELOPMENT: Todd contacted me yesterday (new years eve) after I sent him an email cancelling my order. He says things have been a bit hectic; but he did say my engine was shipped on the 30th - looks like he may be getting things back under control. I told him I had left a phone msg and a Help Desk comment. He didn't know what happened to the phone msg, but he did say the Help Desk feature on the web site is a little messed up right now. After reading MikeAndersonCA's comment I went ahead, sent that cancellation email, and ordered a different engine. to Todd's credit, he did say I could send his engine back when it arrives; but I think I already have a buyer for the other engine.

I think you will be happy with Syssa engine as I had the pleasure of running in my friends engine on my plane and right from the start it was pure joy to start with nice midrange and 8160 rpms with zinger 18x6 prop I still await mine to and my order # is just ahead of yours, cant wait!!! Later

Todd found a Ultra Stick 60 for winter flying. The stick is a great airplane for winter flying, as the engine is easy to access for tuning. With all the engine orders he is working on, he had little time to prepare a plane for the Frozen Finger Fly In, so late yesterday afternoon after a hasty assembly he met me at the Farmington field. Not sure you can see in the photo, but one of the flap servos failed, so the flight was aborted.

This video contains both the Frozen Finger Fly In at WFC in Bloomfield Connecticut and Todd running the SAP 180 on the Ultra Stick.

Too bad about the servo. That is actually an Ultra Stick 60, I have one with an OS 120, and when I get my Syssa, it looks like the OS 120 might get sold or relocated into a slab.

Talk about using the left stick! I would have liked to see the SAP-180 on that plane though. I had an RCGF 26cc on a US 1.20 and it flew good but needed a little more power. It would have flew fine with a 30cc.

If I get it in time, I will take off the OS 120AX I have on mine now and put on Todds! Then, I will have a back to back comparo versus the very stout 120AX. I swings an APC 16-6 at 10K now!

The left flap servo was moving up and down about 1/4". This plane was bought already put together...just put the engine on it and a few mods were done to make things easier to work on...like the top forward sheeting was removed to make an access panel...my dad did a nice job on that! It was not even covered yet.

Too bad the new servo was going a bit crazy...all the rest of the servos were fine.
The plane weighs 7 pounds 9 ounces ready to fly with the SAP-180HP. Should be quite fun. Maybe I should try the ES pipe on it...no time to do that...
It will already have a 2.25:1 thrust to weight ratio...no need to make it over 3:1 right?

I did not realize it was a 60 size plane. OOPS! At any rate...the cg is perfect with no mods. The battery pack is right in the center of the plane too. What kind of engine did they expect you to put in here anyway?

The very cold weatner too is darn hard on everything to do with RC. Also hard on the hands and the entire human body. I used to go ice fishing and did not use gloves...now my hands crackel with every movement.[:-] Thats not good either! Capt,n

I edited my post with the correct information, thanks for the info. So Todd, looks like I can get one, Horizon has this plane for $180! With an 8 channel Futaba receiver and my 10C I can program air brakes!

Guess I need to order another SAP 180.

Todd I wanted to thank you for the Standoffs got them today and everything is installed on my plane and ready to fly. It looks like it will be a while before i can fly due to the weather here not going to get out of the 30's. I will not fly if its not close to 50 just can't stand the cold weather. I will report back when i am able to maiden my plane.

Anybody know what size the threads are for the prop nut?

I like the Graph Tech tail wheel, which may have changed the CG so that the model was balancing to the rear most tolerance with the battery mounted on the engine box. I don't like to remove the cowl to access the battery, I use a Lithium Ion Fromco battery, which I'd much rather install in the fuse. Moving the rudder servo forward closer to the CG balances the model in the middle of the range with the battery at the wing tube.

So, tomorrow I'll glue down the new servo tray and the Sullivan Golden Rod tubes and be ready to maiden the Funtana 125 with the SAP 180. Not sure if I can wait until Spring, might put skis on and fly next weekend?
