Help me decide MVVS 26cc or 35cc vs RCS 140 or 180
I'm looking to get one of the new Creek Hobbies 72" Giles. I'm new to gas. Which one would work the best?

With the engine choices you have provided I would pick the MVVS 1.60.
The 2.15 would be too heavy, as probably the RCS 1.80. I have seen the RCS 1.40 run and personally would pic the MVVS 1.60, just personal opinion.
I previously had a MVVS 1.60 in a GP 1/4 Giles 202 weighing in @ 12 1/4 lb range, flew nicely, never quite broke the engine in on this bird. Not the right choice for high power 3D manuevers. But if ya just want to bore holes in the sky and fly 3 times longer on the same tank, then this is a good choice.
If ya want the 3D type power then go for a Saito 1.80 or a OS 1.60FX.

I had an MVVS2.15 gas. With less than 1/2 Gl through it, I recorded 6.5k on a Menz S 22x8, almost as good as my ZDZ40RV, but as mentioned, a bit of a heavy engine.
I know Creek Hobbies put 3W24 engines on theirs, I have a used one w. extras, if interested contact me 626.304.2119

I think I'm going to go with the MVVS 1.6. Pé Reivers says that the new ones with the graphite coated piston is even better than the old one in his review and best of all, Morris has them on sale right now.
