Captnjohn, Engine Guy

I found this thread a while ago by accident & did not reply when I should have. Between me not working good & my computer on the blink I did not reply as soon as I should. Thanks you all for you words of kindness that really inspire me to keep interested in posting about engines. I especially thank TOM. To get a very nice posting from him is a special thing to me. He did have a lot of great Ideas to share, even with photos. One I remember is a template of the engine with a dowel in the center so you could mount a engine & have the prop shaft in the center where it should be. I re posted that a few times to help others just like TOM.
I think Tom is on another forum. If someone can cut & past the above, it sure would be great. In Nov of 1999 I had a CVA & have had a few Tia,s since. Well I am over 70 now & still above the ground. I still love engines. Thanks again. Capt,n

Capt,n as the saying goes, " It's better late than never ". So nice to see a post from you and to know that you are up and about and doing ok. I too miss TOM along with some of the others who unfortunately don't visit here anymore, but sure learned quite a bit from them during the time that they did. Take care and welcome to the over 70's club
