Capt'n,

A post I did for you in another thread was deleted by moderators.

Just to let you know, I'm aware of some of what you have and are experiencing. If there's anything I can do, let me know. I understand and hope that others will also. May all take a moment to consider what they say before making a reply to your posts. They might be much more hurtful than they know, and they could be ashamed if they knew the whole story.

Get well and stay that way buddy.

Sincerely,
Pat

Let me echo Pat's words above. All the best to you from us Downunder John !
Internet forums are often harsh and sterile places where people's comments, even if not meant to bite can be hurtful at the best of times.

All the best

I talked to Captnjohn via Email tonight.

He's OK.

He's hoping to visit one of the other prominent engine members near where he's at in the next few days and enjoy some engines.

Talks like there's another cool spell hit down there.

Says he'll get back on here soon. I hope he shares his visit with us?

It's not for me to divulge what John may be experiencing, but trust that all of us would have a difficult time with a similar situation. For all of you that have posted so far, you've done exactly what I hoped you would do, and thank you. You've openly noted your concern and care for a fellow modeler even if there may have been differences in opinion in one area or another. That's who we are supposed to be, and hopefully John will see that he's missed and we all wish him well.

Miss ya buddy, get back here soon.

Pat

Especially because he is such a great guy. I've talked to him about engines and we've were trying to hook up to go flying together last year.

Hello Capt'n. As I celebrated my 70th birthday last night, I raised a large tumbler of Captain Morgan's on the rocks to you and your health. Stop by on your trip North and we will raise a few together. Take care,

Sincerely,

SPACEWORM/Richard
