Luis,

Yes I lived in Jacksonville,NC with my family from 1989-1992 while in the Marines. I was very interested in RC at the time, but had never flown (or could afford it for that matter).

Best of luck with what you guys decide to do down there, but if you could stick with the AMA 424 rules it would be best as it keeps things consistent with what other clubs do in that part of the Country.

Glad you got those B.O.P's Luis!

It looks like I gotta go get a TT .40 now. I bought the .46 for the pred about two years ago because that was the set-up of the day.[&:]
So far I am involved in the 1/2a reedie race in Burlington and however many races the T-6 can survive and one or two 424 events for 07.

It sure would be nice to go to a 424 race in NC. I went to the Americus, GA 424 December 16th race (my first!)
and had a GREAT time, but boy was I saddle-sore from all the driving. I'd do it again though!

Would be great to have you here!!!
What we need is a race planned for every other weekend in N.C. That would keep us busy!!!!!!!
But in reality, one every month would be sufficent...wouldn't??

There is pylon equipment available if your club wants to hold a 424 race next spring in NC. The biggest issue you will face is getting your club members to come out and support the event. The guy's from Charleston and Greenville would come up for the race.
Regards,

Bill

Yeah, it would be nice to meet you guys and do some racing in the spring...not sure we'll have things ready by then, but it's a good goal that might be met.
...just have to see what happens!!!

Hey Bill, glad you showed up, in the previous page I had mentioned you along with Marcus and James. Hopefully We in NC will be able to put something together. I have some people in Raleigh too that would race. Hope all had a Happy New year.
