Need Gasser Ignition Help....>>>
Trying to button up my 30cc MX2 and I discovered something today that I need a little help with.
I hear everyone talking about buring up the ignitions on gassers with more than 6.0V, many show 4.8V to 6.0V. My DLA-32 suggests a 2S Li-Po for the ignition with no regulator. And the ignition box shows 7.2V to 8.4V for power source.
Does nayone have first hand experience with these engines? I have a few 1300Mah / 7.4V / 2S Lipos, will these be adequate?

RE: Need Gasser Ignition Help....>>>
yep the DLA ignitions run at a higher voltage.i ran a 4.8 battery pack in mine just to see if it would work,i did with out any problems.
i have a DLA55 that runs the same RPM as the two DLE55's i have, not a bad engine at all.
