Default Engine and Plane choice Help...

Alright, the biggest airplane i have owned to date was a GP Patty with a BME 50 on it and HS-5625 around.

Im ready to kick it up alittle.
Questions on planes:
I am into 3d stuff as well as IMAC (easily changed with CG?)
Looking at these, H9 Extra 33%, Aero-works 36% Katana-S, Wild Hare 36% Extra 330LX, Aero-works 33% Extra & Edge, Wild Hare 35% G-202. Comments on flight?

Engines:
DA100 vs. 3W 106? Performance and wieght?
ZDZ 80 for the H9 possibly?

Also questioning setups:
The review for the Extra 330LX on downonthedeck.com showed 3 HS-5945's on the rudder on a SWB tray, do these thing need a $350 rudder setup?!?!

Also, planning on 2 receiver batts and a single ignition, ive never used any regulators, comments, tips?

2 Recievers: Do I need 2?!?!? If so, how do you wire them up?
Like i said i am new to the bigger stuff and would like some help on setups, plane choice, and engine choice.

Muchos Gracies
David

Hello David,
I have only seen the H9 extra and the DOD WH extra in person, and both are pretty awesome, I think the WH looks a little better, but they both fly well.

Engines, depends on you, IMO DA is the better choice, I have seen a couple 106's, recently on H9 extra with a 106, it had nothing on my cap, either did the other. But, Ill leave it to personal preference.

the zdz is always a great choice, and on a pipe would be really great!!

No, they dont NEED that kinda rudder setup, both my 33% birds have twin servos, one two 8411's, other two 8611's.

2rx's are not needed, more personal preference. Just put two batteries into one rx.
