Mattyb,, thanks for your comments,,,
Here is the low down,,
Bolly carbon fibre prop 26X10 balanced and drilled for ZDZ80 at factory,,, the boys there will accommodate you very well for what you want,
Clearance as it stands on the table is at least 50mm,, more than enough clearance unless you want to take off or land with a nose down attitude
Canopy is sprayed inside with R/C car body style window tint and a bit of black.
I can't wait to get a bit of colour on the thing and will soon,, just waiting on a couple of things.
Cheers
Brad

Well, since it probably doesn't get very hot where you live[8D], you don't have to worry about your canopy. However, if it does get hot and sunny, if you leave that canopy in the sun, it will deform in no time. So make sure you have a cover, and don't remove it until you're ready to flip the prop. I painted the canopy of my first 2.6m Extra on the inside with some of the lexan car body paint (gun grey) and it very quickly developped some dips and valleys and such[&o][:-] ha ha.

That's more good advice[8D].
Keep it coming guys,, iv'e been flying these things for a long time but this is the first big one (well had a 1933 Gere Sports that had a 9 ft wing but this is totally different) so any other tips are more than welcome.
Cheers

Good Day There AJF--2
You have a Brison 4.2 in yours, I have a couple of questions. Do you know what the flying weight is and is the engine soft or hard mounted. I was curious how it is standing up to the 4.2.. Oh yeah, Does it do a knife edge loop?
Thanks

hi matt,
if you are having trouble with frieght i might be able to help.
i bought a 1/3 scale extra already built from brissy. mick did a great job packing as the stabs were glued on. i had a mate bring it down for me on top of a load.
would have no trouble getting it to you from here.....
mark.
ps: check out my p/a edge in the giant scale forums.
