RE: TOC1 Yak 54
The field looks great...I miss Manteno....I have decided that until I can find a safe place to fly my 2.6, I won't be flying it anywhere. Hey Wayne, Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you yesterday but I got out of work late. I will check my Da 50 tonight for sure and I will drop you a line.

RE: TOC1 Yak 54
I just wanted to respond to several posts in this thread about the fact that this company uses domainsbyproxy to "hide" their identity. Domainsbyproxy allows you to do name registration w/o posting your whois info all over the internet for everyone to see. Some people may do it to hide? But.. not using it is dumb too. I have seen several people using spam software and miners and they all use whois info to get the email addresses of the contacts and spam the crap out of them. They will also crawl your webpages and pull out all the mailto:// tags. (and thus the reason for server side script emailing like here at rcu with private message). If you list at domains by proxy you don’t have this problem and can still get updates if someone wants to buy your domain or contact you. Same reason you don’t put your email address at the bottom of every post here at rcu. Spam. Spam sucks and just b/c you have a domain does not mean you should have to make yourself subject to it.

RE: TOC1 Yak 54
Can someone who has one of these post some pictures of the internal structure? Just curious to see what it looks like compared to my EF 87" Yak. Not rying to point fingers or say someone coppied someone just want to see the construction that's all.
Thanx.

RE: TOC1 Yak 54
Hey Jim,
Nice meeting you over the weekend.
To answer your question.... The construction on these planes is completely different than what you see on your EF Yak.
The construction that the original factory was using on EF planes is what you will see on a KMP/E-Bay Yak/Toc1 Yak.
The current EF Factory changed the way the planes are built.

RE: TOC1 Yak 54
I spent about an hour reading about the TOC1 Yak 54, who's is it, is it a reject, who is selling it, etc. My question is what does it matter? I have a TOC1 Yak 54 and I think it is a great airplane, flies great and will do anything I ask it to. So my reply is if I like it I don't care who makes it, doesn't most of them come from China anyway? and maybe from the same factory, who know and who cares. My Yak cost me $400.00 plus shipping (not from TOC1) and I don't care who made it. I know a guy that has three more of these and I like them so well I may buy all of them so I will have Yaks for the rest of my flying days. Really, this is a great airplane.
