Default BME Aircraft vs. BME Engine props?

What is the difference between these two props. I ordered the BME Aircraft prop thinking it was the prop that is marked with BME Engines but soon found they are different.

Is either better?

BME aircraft and BME engines are two different animals. BME engine is in Texas somewhere and BME aircraft is in Canada. I have the BME aircraft prop and it looks a lot like the Menz, MSC, or NX props...the wood grain actually looks better and the tips are painted white. I got it because I couldn't find any other props anywhere else and had to have something fast...glad I came across it!

It looks to me that the BME Engines props are of one solid piece and the BME Aircraft is a laminated layered prop.

Is this the correct description of a laminated prop? Is there any advantage or disadvantage?

the advantage is it is stiffer meaning less twist. no disadvantage.

From what I haev understood, laminated propellers are stiffer and quieter. They tend to come apart quicker when there is minimum damage to them.

Are the BME Aircraft props true to size. Is a 22" prop 22" or 21.5" long like some of the foreign models. I know BME Engine props are true size.

Thanks, ML

BME Aircraft and BME Engine props are made in the same factory, even 3W, NX or MSC are the same. Only the design and materials are different. . They're all true size. But laminated material does has its advantage
