Default Wish me luck.........

Hey guys, gonna take my first gasser flight this weekend. Even though I have been flying glow for 3 yrs now and have got some experience under my belt I am nervous about the gasser. I have had 27 different airplanes with only 3 casualties so I think it will be OK. This one is a Giant Scale Planes Extra 300 with a Sachs 3.4 engine and high torque servo's. I will post videos and pictures if it crashes. LOL

I actually have seen money in trees, in the form of a GP Christan Eagle!

Well it didnt fly this weekend...... started nicely but had problems with the transition and would only surge at mid-range and high end. We did a lot of carb adjusting but to no avail, just didnt run good enough to risk flight. I'm gonna invest in a carb kit since it has been factory run many years ago and hasnt been run since. Any advice on where to get one for a older walbro carb would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are many different Wallbro carbs. I think your best bet would be at a small engine repair shop. They work on chainsaws and weedeaters which have these carbs. Probably needs a good cleaning and new diaphram.

Good luck
