Default Wheel separation during landing

I had a 3.5" Dubro tire come off the wheel hub on my 80' midwest cap 232 while landing. Any way to keep that from happening? It jammed against my wheel skirt and flipped the plane over. Any wheels that won't do that? I would appreciate any advice.

File a flat spot on the axle where the set screw in the wheel collar meets the axle. Also use loctite on the set screw if you hadn't already.

If you are saying it came off the rim, I have glued them with thick CA before.

I have this problem with the first time useing these wheels.
I am going to glue the wheel to the hub with Epoxy or something that doesn't need air to dry. Problem is the wheel will not come off the axle easy. How are you getting it up high enough to get glue on it?!
