Don't think about it!! Do it, I'll be doing the same thing and sitting on it till I can pick up a DA-85, be the perfect motor.

I have missed something I think, is there a bigger EF Yak comming and if so does anyone know how big and when.

The longest ARF build in history is almost over. All I have left to do is bolt on the Stabs, wings and cowl.

There is a 104" EF YAK coming, and Krazy and I were just talking about the Hanger 9 Cap and the new DA-85 coming out.

hope my 88 comes in soon, the only good thing, if i look at it this way, without my comp arf to fly i may spend more weekend time getting this new yak together, hope to hear soon, chris sent an email last week and said he would be sending comfirmation in a few days, that was last week, so i am ready....and i do think the sd33 will be the next one eventually, i was close 2 times already to get that, 1st time the guy in my club offered me the comparf at a steal so i went with it, then i was close a few months ago until i found out about this 88, dam ef coming back with a vengance after their 1st couple yaks dissapeared, so when i am ready this time it will be the 3rd attemp, i will have to just get the darn thing....i had the sd30 yak, thats what my 80 was in in the 1st place, lost that plane to a bad switch, my 1st gasser and only 1 switch, so that wont happen again, but after researching more about the 33 i figure the 80 will be better in that, instead of a heavy wing loading rocket 30%, i will have a light wing loading and still enough power, so thats the way to go, unless someone comes up with something else in the meantime that changes my mind, but i do see tbm has hp versions of the sd yak, meaning quick build but i guess they didnt want to call it that cause that name is taken, but its looking better and better, i just want this 88 yak now, my e300 just makes me want a bigger plane even more, but it will tide me over for now....

I second the motion. All in favor say Aye!!

[sm=idea.gif]Dave sell that motor and get another 60 cc with the money and quit crashing your planes[X(] at least until the EF Extra hits the market.

I have flown both the SD 30% and the EF Yak and it's like apples and prunes..........The EF will win everytime. I had 3 (TOC1, Aviation Models, SD) Yaks and they were nice planes BUT the EF Yak is in a different league.

well i figure this one will be my fav, but that 33 would make a good home for my 80, its too good of a motor to want to part with, just will need a good home, and the 33 is heavier which might help when it gets extra breezy, which it does here often

if ef announces a 60cc version of the blue/yellow edge i may consider selling the 80, that would make a sweet trio, yak, edge, extra, we'll see what happens

Is there any hope of a 150cc yak from ef in the near future? Or maybe just a 33%er?

Chris says the 104" is nearly as big as the 150 class planes. Heck the 50cc plane is bigger than the Aeroworks 100cc Extra.

Here is my first attempt with new camcorder. Dad is recording and I'm flying. Had to keep it low to keep it in the picture. Hope this works. Nothing too exciting.

I'm running the Xoar 23x8 on my B60 with standard muffler. Love that motor! I think I was making Dad nervous, he likes ribbing me when I'm flying. Trust me Scott, it's more the plane than me. You'll see if you ever get off your rump and put yours together.

Well it looked like some good flying to me. Now if I can just get caught up on engines so I get the time to put the plane together I will soon enough. I just need to do a little every night.
