Default motor-vs-servos

I have a chipmunk and wonderingwhichbattery to tie my smoke pump to? The motor is a jba 15cc with a life 1100 mah battery and the servos are (4) hitec 5645 connected to a 1100 mah life battery also.

My personal preference and opinion..... I would never add any kind of additional load to the battery pack that powers the receiver and servos. I can deal with a deadstick engine, but I cannot deal with a dead radio and servos.

the smoke pump should have a dedicated battery.

ORIGINAL: Steve Percifield

the smoke pump should have a dedicated battery.
That would be the perfect option, but given that he is only dealing with a 15cc engine, weight might be an issue.
