Source for HD tail wheel assembly?
I have the BUSA 1/3 scale Stearman.
It came with a tail wheel by CB Associates. The heaviest one they have. Leaf springs and a pull pull system supporting a 3" tail wheel. I believe thsy advertise it for up to 40#, but thid is a 50# plane.
It was OK at first but after a couple of years of flying it has become much too sloppy. Attempts to rectify this issue have failed.
Does anyone know of a supplier that makes a tail wheel assembly for a 50# plane?

Don't know of any that use a 3" wheel but if the 1 1/2" whell that most use will work for you you could look at http://www.whiteroseeng.com/products/tf.html and https://sites.google.com/site/jjtailwheels/
