RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
Hi Mario,
Yes my friends wife is a professional dress maker and she agreed to make them for me.
I am getting some made for my smaller 1/5 scale TMMY Cessna as well as these models are soo nice I want to be sure they are protected as much as possible.
The nightfire is a great programmable unit.
I am sorry if you were after close ups of the unit itself. It is mounted inside the under floor panels and I did not get a chance to get a photo.
The unit is very flexible in setup options for LEDs, just need to make sure when running the 3W emitters that if they are to be staying on for long period of time that you use the heat sink version. They do get extremely hot while in operation. The flashing do not require this.
Also make sure you use resistors appropriate to the colour of the emitter and the wattage. There is information in the Nightfire instruction manual to refer to.
Glad you like the video. I had been meaning to do this some time ago.
Now that I am confident I can upload my HD footage from my camcorder successfully there is nothing holding me back now.
Best Regards,
Steve Malcman

Very nice flying Mario. Your friend knows how to fly scale. It is good to see this model demonstrated in such a way ie side slip landings and slow take offs. It goes to show you that this plane can fly very slow indeed.
Hope you all enjoyed it also.

Mario,
I heard him say that you needed to change the servos for your flaps. What servo will you use?
Also to all Cessna owners I found thes amazing fasteners called Zeus fasteners: http://www.milspecproducts.com/
http://www.milspecproducts.com/PreEngSets.htm
At the 1:10 mark in this video you'll see how they are installed and used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cylg0dxgAE8

Mario,
Check out www.modelaircraft.org for a complete listing of flying sites in the U.S.
Have you added any new details to the plane?

Hi Mario,
Those new lights look like they are from full size aircraft. I know at the moment all new planes are being fitted out with the LED technology now so I would not be surprised if you got a hold of this.
Does it run from a 3S lipo?
Steve
