Some of you might have seen our latest creation from 'Horsepower Aviation' on GTM's website, where we stuffed a DA100 into a 1/3 scale GTM DVI. We needed something for the Allies, so we stuffed a DA85 in a Balsa USA Pup. I will have this down at SDP next month for sale. It will have a full gun system and enough horsepower to give that DVI all it can handle![sm=wink_smile.gif]

We have two opinions on how the 'A' should be represented on the top wing... Please feel free to give your 'two cents worth' on which one would look the best.
Here's my .02 cents. Like this.......

Looks great

Ok riddle me this Batman

Why would a plane have an incidence going from 5-0 deg at the root to 2-0 deg at tip on starboard wing and from 5-0 to 4-0 on the port wing. thats a big diff in incidence in the 2 halves. that wouldnt be for offsetting torque would it it has to be for something else right

Beer's the only reason I can think of at the moment. .. Not sure on that one let me do some homework. I'm assuming this on your Tripehound? If so is it present on all three wings? That would equate to quite a bit to overcome torque issues unless it was designed into the full scale bird to counteract the rotary however, I'm just speculating at the moment.

I'm doing a 1/3 DV at the moment, let me see what I can find. You must have replied when i was editing my post so disreguard the earlier questions. Keep me in the loop on the Albi, there one of my fav's. Thinking of doing an Albi 2 seater after I finish my other 1001 projects.

well my planset will have the albi I, II, III, DVa all on the same planset as the 1, 2 , 3 used the same fuse and the 1 and 2 the same wing and the 3 and 5 shared the same wing with 5 having a diff fuse so 2 wingsets and 2 fuses and you can do any of the 4 planes. now there are differences between the 1 and 2 in height of top wing radiator and some other small features but the framing for us will be basically the same

OK DVI fans!
We have all our graphics from Get Stenciled. Thanks Vikie!!
We received our guns today from Mike Celesky. Pictures don't do it justice.
Barry decided the wheels should be painted black and white, so...viola! Your wish is my command....They turned out pretty darn good!
The engine picture shows it 'in progress'. It should be done this weekend.
The other pics show the weight scale and serial numbers- painted over
We decided to make the Iron Cross larger on the rudder.

The engine is heading over to the paint shop (Barry's)!! We should have the engine done and test run (vibration test) by Wednesday. We are currently working on the cockpit and gages and hopefully we will have the hood and the GUNS mounted this week end!!!! We will be ready for SDP!!!!!!

We just came back from SDP and we had a really good time. We only have a few more small items to add to the six and we will be completed with this project!![sm=teeth_smile.gif]
I will be uploading some pics of the 98% completed plane. My goal is to finish the gages and correct some things, totally "seal" the plane by the end of the year...... The big items like the dummy motor, the guns, hood with the new style fokker fasteners, along with the cock pit items we recently put in....did very well on the shakedown/vibration test flights @ SDP Pics will be up today...sometime
