Hey Guys,
Just an FYI, we had intentions of staying as close to the 55lb limit as we could, the componets alone, wheels, engine ,radio, batteries etc. actually account for more weight than you think given the size/strenght requirements needed to handle the "longevity and safety" requirements. Paul and I actually exceeded the AMA requirements for our equipment by 200 percent. Given this was a first off experimental build we tended to "over engineer" the structures in leiu of of a potential failure and poss. injury. I sure things can be lightened a bit here and there however, agin safety is paramount. A 150 powerplant is more than ample for these aircraft, as I truley believe the 65 to 75 lb weight range is the target.

Nah, never mind........I'll do it all in house. That way if it flys, I get the credit........and if it doesn't fly - never mind, it'll fly (some day!)
A DH2, huh?!?! Very Cool!

RE: Half Scale Fokker DVI
Good Morning D6 fans!
Thanks for the brief intermission with your humor,,,comments,,,and other non-related D6 items,,, That was truely fun!!
Back to the task at hand!!....We have 3 weeks to finish this plane for SDP. Tonight Barry and I will be posting the latest progress of the guns. We painted a gigantic A in the center of the wing, Vicky from "GET STENCILED" just sent all the cool details we will be putting all over the plane. Barry is working on the joystick, flooring, cockpit items and I am working on the enormus dummy engine. We will post pics tonight and all the way until the dead line or until we are finished...which ever comes first.

RE: Half Scale Fokker DVI
We have two opinions on how the 'A' should be represented on the top wing... Please feel free to give your 'two cents worth' on which one would look the best.
