Default AMR Monster Stick 150

Wanted to post some photos of a friends AMR Monster Stick 150 he's building. It's covered and should be ready to fly by the first of the year he says.

I was over there today taking measurements for a set of wing bags we will be making for him. Each wing panel is 6' long and has a 30" cord length.. It's a monster... DA-150 on canisters and has a candy cargo bay ready for candy drops..

8" go-cart wheels for main and 4" tailwheel..

I'm looking forward to the maiden.

Those that don't know about these kits, they are absolutely phenomenal with the work that goes into the laser parts. It's an easy plane to build. I will be building the 50cc version soon.

AMR has the best line of Sticks out on the market IMHO. I like the scheme on that Monster Stick, very original. I will be starting my own 50cc stick soon as well. I bought one for a friend for Xmas too. I couldn't make up my mind on what to power it with and we are both going to go with DLE111's. it is going to have stupid power, but I like them that way.[sm=shades_smile.gif]

Fantastic color scheme. I've been flying the 85 AMR Stick for the last couple of months with a DL111. Great flying plane. Love to see how he got the canisters in the fuse. Jerry.

Don't believe the canisters will be in the fuse, just attached on the bottom somehow.

Yeah.. I have a 3W106 in my Porter. Thought about puting the cans in the fuse.. Too much work! Just running the Pitts style mufflers.

It looks like it will hold a 25 pound sack of candy in that cargo bay! I've had my eye on the Eclipse 50. These are great looking kits.

I think the Eclipse 50 may be my next plane also. I have seen the instruction manual and it looked good. Is the kit really as easy as they claim? Does everything fit together like they claim?

This is the first AMR kit I have built and it was by far the easiest kit I have done. The only thing hard about it was making room for it! Also the instructions don't give you any radio set up suggestions.... But thats not a problem for the experienced builder.

Jim, that is a great video, great plane, and very good flying on Pedro's part. Do you know when he will next have it out at the field?

Check with Bad Brad Graphics or Kirby's Graphics. If they don't have them they can make anything you want.
