The best e-lectric props I have found for sport flying are the APC they do make 20+ inch props check them out Most of my e-flight so far has been park foamies And I am know venturing ito a 4o0 size convertion The same zize e-prop compared to glow gives a lot more pull and increased rpms in september 2005 Model airplane News did a 1/4 scale Pitts bipe convertion they used APC prop Hope this Helps some

From threads written in this forum I understood APC-E are not very good In these sizes, on the other hand many recommended MEJLZIK corbon props. correct me if I'm wrong.
Any other recommendation ? wooden props perhaps ?

Comparing APC e-props to Mejzlik carbon props is like comparing "apples to oranges". Both are fruit but very different from each other.
The 20" APC e-props are just fine for 3D. You can see them [link=http://www.hobby-lobby.com/elecprop.htm]here[/link] at Hobby Lobby for about $15 U.S.
The Mejzlik hollow carbon props are superb designs but also cost $51 U.S. at [link=http://www.desertaircraft.com/page.php?Page=Mejzlik]Desert Aircraft[/link].
So, are you willing to pay an extra $36 before even trying out an APC e-prop based upon something you heard on the Internet?

Comparing Mejzlik Electric props to APCE is like comparing a Lamborghini to a Volvo 740 
Mejzlik is makin 20x11 and 20x12" E both standard and wideblade version, best there is for big electric setups!

I couldn't help but comment, I am very willing to put in one cent worth, but this one cent answer not answer your question.
The truth, and nobody else will tell you, is that there is no perfect answer.
Allot of the E-props flex, that is not good. However, on the other side, they are usually lighter, so they allows more RPMs and more efficient motor operation. This is due to less mass and weight resistance. In my thinking, RPMs are a function of Volts to the electric motor, and amps sustain that voltage, however, it stands to reason that, if the prop is thinner and lighter the motor will not work as hard. I think it make the motor operate more efficiently sby producing the same RPMs and use less amps, thus, less stress on the batteries. However the plane won't fly as well as it would, if it had a larger mass non-flexible prop. As you can imagine, there is alot to consider when selecting motors, controllers, batteries and props.
If you want to take time off of work, or, use up your spare retirement time, you can read every build thread on this site and get info on props. In order to save you the time and effort, the answer that you will come up with, is that there is no perfect answer. Every builder experiments and comes up with his or her own performance conclusion. In other words, the method of finding the right prop is to use suggested variations posted by other people or motor manufacturers, then spend more money and try different props until you find some that work best for your particular type of flying.

I have tryed the Mejzlik E props alot, many diffrent versions, they are superb!!! i havent found anything better, on my setups and tests they easely outperform a APCE or wood prop.
Mejzlik now have the props on there site http://mejzlikmodellbau.inshop.cz/inshop/
They are working on more sizes planning both bigger (over 26") and smaler ( under 20") props both in E and WE versions.
With todays motors, and coming motors (up to 10+kw) there is a BIG need of these props.

Mejzlik is workin hard in developing new sizes for Electric, im helping out with researce in what sizes are needed, props from 18"-30" in both standard and wideblade option, what sizes to you all want and need?
