Default Problems with K&B .61 with remote needle valve

Hello all,

Got a problem with a K&B .61 with remote needle valve. Cannot get the fuel to feed past the needle valve into the carb. Have taken the needle valve off and cleaned it and also blew compressed air through the housing. Did the same thing with the carb, but I'm still having the same problems. This is the .61 that has the brass mixture disc on the side of the carb. I've checked the tank and the fuel lines for leaks and have not found any. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Sounds like you still have a blockage or you have an air leak.

+1 also have you made sure the O ring on the carb body is soft and compressed to seal out air?

One thing about the new carb is that if the carb barrel gets rotated 180 degree's, it wont pull fuel. Check that first, then look for air leaks....
