Any brand medium to cold plug will do just fine[8D] I normally just slap in the whatever plug I have at hand, tune the carb, bash and have fun.

I wouldn't use a cold plug in any car engine unless you're running 30%+ nitro. Hot or medium plugs are the ticket. I use hot plugs with 20% nitro; McCoy MC59 or Enya #3 are good ones. OS plugs are a ripoff

I like to have several spare plugs on hand, so if it were me, I'd have 2 or 3 on hand. It sucks being out bashing and have a plug burn out and not have a spare.

Glow plugs are expendables and I have a bag full of them in every different heat range. I second what the above wrote, but I always run 30% or more in my cars and therefore use medium to cold plugs myself. Choose what you need accordinng to the type of fuel you run (high nitro= colder plug, low nitro= varmer plug)

Glow plug temp corresponds to how much methanol is in the fuel. Less methanol =
Colder plug; more methanol hotter plug. The slight exception is when using high nitro and high oil content; in this case a hotter plug is better.

I run HOT plugs up to 25% nitro. 8-25% oil. No issues here in MN.

I even use 4-stroke plugs on problem engines with high nitro without issue. I usually only use a 4C plug to diagnose a problem and swap back to a normal hot plug when it's sorted out.

Iuse Merlin 2001 and 2006 cold plugs in most of the small glow engines we sell with only 15% nitro.
