So after a 24 hour soak in glow fuel I tried the popsicle stick trick and lifted the cylinder liner out with ease.  From there the connecting rod, piston, and crank shaft came right out.  Thank you Dennis and Sport Pilot for those tips.  Now how do I get  the rear bearing out??  I was able to get the front bearing out with just a few light hammer taps and a wooden dowel.  But the rear bearing doesn't offer much of a lip or ledge to work aginst.  How do I go about pushing this one out?  Thanks again!!

Heat the engine case in the oven. 325* for 5-10 minutes usually does the trick. Smack the crankcase on a block of wood. Works like a charm.

So a little heat and a smack on a blockof wood and out it popped.  Wow!  That wass easy and slick.  Thanks 1Qwksport.  So now I need to round up new bearings.  wcmorrison suggested: "Get a set from Paul (the bearing man), they are in expensive."  Is this the bearing man inAustralia?  Or somoen else?  Any other suggestions where to go?

Maybe Paul RCBearings.com? That's where I get my bearings from.

i get my bearings from Boca bearings. In stock and fast ship. http://www.bocabearings.com/

Put the bearings in the freezer for 30 minutes while heating the engine in the oven again at ~300 degrees for 20 minutes or so and the two bearings will simply drop in!

I just don't understand why people buy bearings from Boca. They are price gougers! More than $15 for both is a waste

A set for an Evo PTS .455 was about $15 from Advantage Hobbies.
