I switched from using a Prop Reamer to using an E Size Drill Bit in a big Pin Vice I keep in my Field Box. The Size E Drill Bit results in a Propeller that fits very snugly onto the prop shaft of my 60 size OS Max Engine. The reason I started doing this is because I also found out about a year ago that the Prop Reamer I had in my tool collection would make the hole in the prop too big.

I use standard reamers and grind a pilot on the first 10-12mm. Made several, also make up bushings to allow using a smaller pilot in a larger prop hole.

Grind pilot hole on size, grind new cutting edges and reliefs on the reamer flutes. Easy to make pilot bushings as needed.
