Question Asp .91 abc

Hey all, I’m new to the ASP engine world. What is the fuel fitting on the back plate(crank shaft cover) used for? And what does it connect to? Thanks

If there is a fitting installed in the backplate, that would have been added to drive a Perry fuel pump (or similar). AFAIK, thats not standard fitment from the factory. If you don’t use a pump, just plug the fitting and run the engine as you normally would.

that fitting in the back plate is a good place to oil the engine at the too-cold to fly part of the year
