Need help. Anyone have a good prop recommendation here? Also, I'm getting a lot of fuel spillage around the carb...could this be the low speed needle being way rich? Thanks...

Not sure about the fuel spillage but I have a APC 12-6 prop on my Saito 45. It seems to be a good choice.

Sense,
Believe it or not, Saito recommends an 11x6 prop fot the .45 4 stroke!

It threw me for a loop when he told me that.
Hope that helps.

Both the Saito .40 and .45 need to be able to rev, I'm running an 11x5 on my .40 which is on an RCM 40 trainer. It tops at 10,100 and thrives on it.

I just bought a .45 from a fellow in the swapshop. It came with a note from the former owner recommending an 11x7 prop and 10% fuel.

I'll be running an 11x6 prop on 5% fuel - this is going onto the club trainer. I had a .50 on this plane with the same prop - until I broke the connecting rod. Too many "R's", not enough load.
