Enya 60 mixture question
I was given an Enya 60 which is at least 10 years old. I don't have the instruction book and I'm trying to adjust the low end.
There are two screws on the carb, one on the top and one on the right side. The engine idles rich/ rich midrange and I was wondering which screw to adjust first to lean it out. Any help would be appreciated. Ed

Enya 60 mixture question
If it's the same carb I have on mine then there's also a mid range adjustment which is part of the main needle valve assembly. There's a few graduation marks on the carb body with a + and - at either end and a small tab which is moved to adjust the mid range mixture. I've found it's quite sensitive and on mine it seems about right when in the middle. But what a great engine

Enya 60 mixture question
Back the screw out to lean it? That's the opposite from what I was going to do. And what does the idle speed screw do that the throtle control doesn't? Thanks

Enya 60 mixture question
Enya's use an air bleed carb. So backing out the screw allows more air to be aspirated, thus leaning out the mixture. The idle speed screw on the top stops the barrel from closing so you can set a fixed idle speed. The disadvantage is that you can not turn off the motor using the transmitter. I always back mine out so I have transmitter control.
