How to best adjust the air bleed screw?
I'm still having trouble running my OS .15 LA with an APC 8x5. Ot hesitates from idle to full throttle. I've never really played with the setting before.
1. What's it for?
2. What is the correct procedure for adjusting it?
Thanks,

I would suggest that you first adjust the high speed needle with wide open throttle. Then at idle, pinch the fuel line and see what it does, if the speed does not increase, your are too lean, then close the airbleed a bit and try it again. If the engine increases for a long time, then its too rich. Open the airbleed a bit.
A good setting is when you pinch the line at idle and the rpm will increase a bit and then die.
Be sure to adjust the high speed first, very important.
Good luck

The carb spits at idle, and the engine does stay on for a while when the line is pinched. Would this help the hessitation?
