Default OS 91FX question

Does anyone know where I can find a prop shaft extention so I can get the engine deeper in the snout of my aircraft? 1/2 to 5/8"

I have looked but to no success.

All help is greatly appreciated!!

Also, any after market muffler suggestions would help as well.
I am tring to fit it into a YAT-28E

Thanks

Is there any reason you can not simply shim the engine out further instead of making the shaft longer?

I need to move the engine aft more as not to cut a hole in the bottom of the cowl.

Without this ext, i need to cut a hole in the bottom of the cowl.

Like a P-51 for example usually has to have the head stickin out the bottom, I am trying to avoid that and that little extra would do it.

Does that make sense? ....or am I loosing it?

Check out the RCV SP series 4-strokes. Perfectly suited for clean cowl warbirds. They also have gear reduction built in so you can turn a larger (more scale) diameter prop.

RVC engines are not performance engines straight out of the box. One must send them in and have adjustmemts made for better performance, and use the fuel that they sell especially for the engine. I would cut up my cowel and not worry about it.

Fox Manufacturing makes 1/2 and 3/4 inch shaft extensions in the needed 5/16 thread size. It does require enlargement of the prop hole to fit the extension.
