Undo the rear plate bolts, pull it off and check to see if the gasket is warped/bent/deformed or maybe a smidgen of dirt is preventing full contact. Even if you can't see any dirt, clean it off GENTLY and reinstall. Remember to tighten the bolts crosswise a bit at a time, just like tightening the wheel bolts on your car.

JanK has a good point, but it wont hurt to check the sealing also. Put some RTV on the joint as you reassemble, that will take care of any warpage in the plastic cover.
